What every Welcome Home visit includes

This is our standard checklist on every home, whether or not you flag a single thing. You don't need to ask for any of it.

Test all appliances
Check plumbing for leaks and full function
Make sure every door opens, closes, and latches right
Check every exterior window seal and add extra sealant to guard against rain and leaks
Check the electrical panel for loose wires
Touch up any cosmetic issues (drywall, paint, overspray)
Remove transport straps and roof transport wood, then patch and touch up
Install the dryer vent if you want it
Vacuum or sweep indoors before we go
Handle any custom punch-list items from your order
Complete the warranty form and walk it with you for sign-off

Most visits take a full working day, usually 4 to 8 hours or more. You don't need to be here the whole time, but we'd love you there at the start to walk us through anything you've noticed, and at the end to sign off on everything. Here's how to prep for your visit.

Photos (optional)

Send photos of anything that's tough to describe, needs a picture to explain, or where you're not sure if it needs to be replaced or just repaired. The smaller, basic stuff doesn't need a photo, we can handle that.

Up to 10 photos, shrunk automatically so they upload fast. Got video? Send it to your rep after you submit.
